How do you feel about the whole political climate. Do you feel if GM got rid of the unions that would improve GM's overall situation?

Who do I have to greese to get an extra coat of clear on my car? LOL

BTW ... Nice ride! Those sloped back Impalas are "coolness" defined. The BB is iceing on the cake.

My friend has been at 3400 for almost 2 weeks now.

Honestly, inside the plants the union and the mangement work together. We have too. All our jobs depend on harmony. We all have a role to play in the plant. I don't think you will ever "get rid" of the union. Having the union around is like having a lawyer at you finger tips. Not everyone is in need of a rep at all times but it's like having an isurance policy. Everyones best interests ore kept in mind in any given situation. Unions and the workers did not create the "Global down-turn in the market" it was big banks that caused that mess. We just want to go to work and go home at the end of the day and if we make a good living at it well ... good for us.
