Exclamation Razzi vs. Duraflex Comparrison Tested

After Duraflex posted a thread on fitment of their kits I thought I would give them a try. My brother already has the razzi kit so I figured I would do a side by side comparisson. I will break the two into a few catagories.

Price - While the Duraflex kit was about 200.00 cheaper then the Razzi I ended up dishing out 300.00 more for prep work in order to paint the kit. When I thought I was saving the duraflex kit actually cost more then the Razzi when its all said and done.

Quality - The duraflex kit is fiberglass/duraflex material while the razzi kit is abs plastic. The razzi kit seems like it can withstand more and requires minimal body work to install on car. It also comes with all mounting hardware making it easy to put on car. Duraflex is more fragile then razzi and requires a lot more work to put it on the car. The kit came with holes varying in sizes with big holes in back, not enough material in certain areas, to much material in some areas creating bumps, tears on side skirts, no brakets or installation hardware to install kit.

Fitment - The fitment was pretty good with both kits. The duraflex required a little more work to fit properly but nothing major. No mounting hardware with Duraflex.

Verdict = For those thinking about kits it is clear to go with the Razzi kit over the duraflex kit. The kits cost the same when dealing with paint cost and the kits but the duraflex is an inferior product compared to the Razzi.

On a side note the customer service for duraflex was top notch but when I informed them on this thread they let me know it was like comparing apples to oranges. I gave them a shot because in antoher thread they stated all parts are inspected by a quality service committee which is completely false due to how my parts went out. The only thing offered was apologies for my troubles. I will post pictures of the two once completed and some of the duraflex kit with some repairs we had to do to get it ready for paint. Hope this helps when choosing who to purchase your kits from.

Razzi =

Duraflex =

Forgot to give an opinion on looks. For me it's Duraflex between the two. But because of quality issue fears..I went with the O.E.M GM Gfx.

These parts look worse too. They are semi repaired in photos. I'll let the photos speak for themselves on what to think about duraflex. As an added bonus I have now investeed 300more then my brother did for the razzi.

1. Muffler Inlet giant crack
2. Where screws go to mount the front lip to wheel well
3. Where screws go to mount the front lip to wheel well (other side)
4. Muffler Outlet

These things are the hardest to cover and keep cracking as they are getting fixed. Paint can't even go on because the parts keep cracking. These are the most problematic areas. Parts should not need a pound of filler and primer to be able to paint and mount on cars. I'm not a painter and I know that. Things that aren't pictured: crack inside 1 of the side skirts. Front bumper has waves due to poor fiberglass job. i would give these parts a week tops before they fall apart on me let alone mounting the parts like this would get me laughed at everywhere I go. Clearly the pics show my painter trying to repair the parts to get them somewhat decent. How much repair are you claiming these parts need before getting them to look halfway decent. Can you seriously say you would mount parts like this on your car and still be proud of your company.
