What are you looking for? Gotta be a little more specific. LS car or V6?

i got a v6 in it now. im either thinking building the v6 up and making it a sleeper. or getting a ls6 or just for fun get a z06 and drop in. i want the HP but i know i cant get that power and muscle car sound from a v6.

SS hood, dual exahust make a huge difference. You can get a good sound out of a v6 with headers and a muffler, but dont get the loudest muffler out there, get one thats toned down a bit to make it growl instead of scream. You wont get much power out of the 6, even with a turbo, you will have to put so much money into making the engine able to handle that power, and possibly even the trans, rear end, etc. Best bet is finding an ls1 or ls2 with a trans and wiring harness attached out of a wrecked ss, vette, gto, or cts-v But if you want to keep the 6, u can do bolt ons, and get a lil more out of itGetting 17" rims and an ss hood make a huge difference in looks.

First off dont drop any v-8 motor into your car if its a v-6, takes to much time and money. your better off just getting a Z28 and using to money you were going to use in converting it to mod ur ls1. i have a v-6 as well and most we can really do is cold air intake, turbo/ super charge, and exaust, headers and after all that a moded z28 or ss would still smoke you. trust me bro if ur wanting to go big then get a v8 if your wanting to have fun with ur v6 then just mod it it will still be pretty fast

First question you need to answer is what do you want to do with your car? If you just want more power, get an LS1 or LT1 car. Swaps are possible, but unless you can do it yourself, it's going to cost a lot more then just trading the v6 on a v8 (and even if you can, the time to do the swap/the downtime to do things right/money/etc are much more than people realize).

You have the 3.8 pushrod engine which LOVES boost (ask the GN/GNX/TTA guys), but I can tell you from experience that a turbo car requires a lot of time and money. They're fun, but they're expensive.

As someone already asked, 5 speed or auto.

Just decide what you want to do with the car before doing anything. Sucks to spend money twice.
