Everything is done and has shipped. I can relax now.

Oops, a MOPARZ zoomed in there
Always nice when the heavy lifting is done and you can sit back and look at the result.

Seriously, jumping out of an airplane is like, "Oh, that was cool." (no big deal)

Choosing which color ZL1 I want to order is driving me insane though, I can't think straight, and I think I need an extra blood pressure pill.
You see, this would all be so much easier for you if there was just one color to pick from. Everyone wants more colors and now we have clear evidence this is detrimental to your health.

BTW, I DID need a blood pressure pill or three. I was in such a mental state this morning that I forgot them. I took it & was rocking 168/118. I took drugs.

On my way to the dealership to get some WOOSAH.

For me the dealership is the last place I would consider a Woosah place..... I really really really really hate dealing with dealers.

Did I ever mention I hate dealers?
But good dealers aren't so bad. I can name a few that are quite pleasant.

Maybe I should open it and see what's in there...

Don't open it...............it's a trap

I haven't been involved in any SEMA cars or prep in my career. But it is good to see GM focus on the small cars as well as the performance cars. We need to get cars relevant to the younger buyers again.

So, I went to the dealership again.

The dealer was cool, and the sales manager reassured me that El Paso's ONLY Zl..1 .. from the first run is mine - at MSRP. Of course I've been bugging them since November when I started the list. They have two other folks on the list, but those will have to wait a bit.

The wife & I went for a test drive in a nice WHITE SS with red reverse mohawk stripes. My WOOSAH was rock-steady. I belong in this car.

Afterward we went to a nice Mexican restaurant with live music. I don't speak much Spanish, so I made up some words of my own. It was a very sad ballad about a young man with a broken heart. You see, his girl had left him because he drove a Mustang.

At the end of the song his car broke down and while he is walking down the road alone with his guitar, his girl passes by in the passenger seat of a shiny new Camaro.

The last verse is, "Shoot me now, shoot me now... Will somebody just please... Shoot ... Me... Now !" (He goes up really high on the last note.)

Like I said, a very sad song.

We laughed and laughed.
.
Now we no what happens after an overdose of blood pressure meds and margaritas.....................

I can tell you from experience GM posting it first means nothing.

Unfortunately I have yet find one.

I may need to find one soon though, I may be trading in the truck for a cheap gas sipper. Cheaper payments and saving money on gas..... WIN at this point in my life!

Who knew getting out of the military could be as stressful as being in it!

I would laugh, but all I feel is I grew up by the steel mills on the South Side of Chicago. Loyalty was more important than anything else. Over the years I have become a better person than I was back then. One thing has never changed and I hope never does. Loyalty. Back then and now. We take care of our own. Too bad there are so many people walking around that didn't get that memo.

Relive your stress with a Zipper version of the Cruze or Sonic. They barely zip any gaz and they look zuper!

Im leaning towards the Sonic.... I could pay it off much sooner and have it as a 3rd vehicle for when the Z/28 comes out!

I have a picture, but it has not been released. This is from Car and Driver.

Chevrolet Cruze Dusk Concept

Two SEMA shows ago, Chevy brought along the Camaro Dusk concept, a subtly modified coupe painted Berlin Blue. The same treatment has been applied to this Cruze, which wears custom silver 19-inch wheels, a prototype body kit, and satin-metal trim in place of shiny chrome. The brakes have been upgraded to four-piston front and two-piston rear Brembos, a Borla exhaust peeks out from below a new rear fascia, and the suspension is lowered with a kit from Pedders. Peanut-butter-colored leather (GM calls the hue Mojave) classes up the interior, and the whole car has a sophisticated and slightly menacing feel to it. “Dusk” is apparently popular at Chevy, as there’s also a Sonic Dusk headed to SEMA this year.

The Camaro was hands down a BMW with a Bow Tie. Refined, reserved and gorgeous. I loved it.

Good looking Cruze.

I still say the RS model needs different headlights though.

MMMMmmmmmmmmmhhhh.

If that had been the replacement for the CGM I would NOT have the problem of deciding between IBM and Black. Dusk is THE perfect color for me.

I will love the Black or Blue just as much... until I repaint. I'm noticing, this is right between the two. Maybe that's why I'm having such a hard time deciding.

Looks good on the Cruze as well - but on the Gen5 that is teh SEXY.

Thanks for the pic, Pete. I hadn't seen that one.

Well for starters, Becky D at Rodgers Chevrolet will treat you really well. She helped us with our Cruze and it was one of the easiest purchases and trades I've ever done......................up until what we bought yesterday, and that was only slightly easier.

Sonic, the last CTF car I had, was really a nice car. A few quibbles, but really overall a great package for the price.

Could use some projector lamps, but with our LTZ RS, I don't really miss them for how the car looks, but I do miss them for how the lighting improves with the projector lamps on the Camaro RS package, for example.
