Usually the two are mutually exclusive... but hey, there could be something out there.

Do you want cheap turbo or inexpensive?

Don't think inexpensive ones exsist. You get what you pay for though. Wait till the middle of winter, prices will drop a bit when people aren't driving thier cars.

If you are paying 7k for a turbo, and you dont have a lot invested into your car, there is a big possibility you could sell your v6, plus 7k and get an SS

A buddy of mine who once owned a speed shop put it to me this way you can have cheap, fast or reliable but only two of the three.

No such thing as cheap FI. Gotta pay to play, unless you want to just blow the motor.

Well thats my dilema, total performance racing (tpr) has built turbo v6s running mid twelves. So the ss idea is a good one, im just kind of stuck! lol

Its all on you, plenty of people have traded in their V6s for the V8s, cause its really not that much more money, and Ive never heard of them regretting it.

Look at the classifieds on this site, and on-line You will be surprised at how much SS's are going for compared to V6's
