I have never driven without my seatbelt, that could endanger my life. I always stop at stop signs cause it's so simple, and could endanger my life, or others, and it's the LAW. BUT I refuse to put a license plate on the front of my vehicle, it does not have registration stickers on it because the back does, it does not protect my life or anyone else's life, so I have no need for it, and it looks so stupid.
Now I'm getting the retractable one.

Yeah on my truck I don't have a front plate. The whole truck is flat black and black rims and smoked lights and blacked out everywhere, I have yet to be pulled over for it. Even after pulling up adjacent to a cop at a light multiple times.
So in this case, I haven't ever been pulled over for it, yet when I got a parking ticket, they just tacked the fine on their with it. I am sure I would have been able to talk the cop out of it if I was present at the time he was issuing it.

wouldn't hold on to that logic for much longer. not every cop is the same. if it's illegal to not have a plate, i guarantee you there is a cop that will pull you over for it for every cop that won't.

No plate and no problem so far. I have the JacFab bracket and plate in the trunk if I need it.

Wouldn't even dare to consider not having my front plate on. That's added attention I can do without!

Nope! I haven't put on the front license plate since I bought my first Camaro in 1995.
I think it helps to be near the border of two states that do not require front plates...
And to obey the law...
and to keep it off the streets where the police run those new cameras that automatically read plates to look for vehicles with outstanding warrants.

I dont have one on ever. I got a ticket for it not too long ago. Zip tied it on, went to the local station and got it signed off. Paid the 40 bucks, mailed it away and done. Really not a long process, so ill keep the plate off other than those 10 minutes where im getting it signed off.

As a side note, the local station here doesnt even go outside to confirm if the plate is on, so maybe youll get lucky?

I think it depends on which one you get... I was checking some websites out last week and a lot of the reviews said they werent the greatest quality. One guy said every time he came to a curb-type parking spot it would get mangled at the bottom of his car.... but i guess that also depends on how stupid you are for pulling up too far in a parking spot.

When i first got my camaro, it wasnt illegal to not have it. I got pulled over and the cop said it was because i didnt have a front plate. He didnt give me a ticket (he couldnt, it wasnt illegal) but he claimed that it was, and told me to put one on.(I did check later, and it wasnt illegal until about 6 months AFTER i got pulled over for it) A similar thing happened to my friend when i was with him, we got pulled over, apparently for no front plate. This was 3 years ago, and my friend still hasnt put on a front plate, and hasnt gotten pulled over again lol. I put my front plate in the front windsheild of my camaro. i havent gotten pulled over since. Most cops dont notice or dont care. But im not putting mine on the front bumper, it looks stupid!

I have my plate. Really didn't mind getting it done, but if I do the ZL1 front bumper, I may not put the front plate back on.
