I don't remember seeing that one. That's a pretty cool angle.

Chuckanut Drive between Burlington and Bellingham is a stunning winding road with coast views the whole way...

Yep! We drove that in 2010 during our first Winthrop cruise from Bellingham.

Glad you finally saw it Mini Hulk!
Okay- since people are posting coastal pics. I can't resist: My fav- So I think what the thread starter was looking for are called "ghost signs". Even though it's not truly a ghost, the most recognizable local wall might be the Roslyn Cafe in Roslyn,WA. Made famous by the TV show Northern Exposure. It's just a quick trip up I-90, and as you can see it's real easy to put a car in front of it. In case you forgot the opening scene from the series: Here is an insanely long link showing some local ghost signs, complete with map locations: http://www.waymarking.com/cat/detail...pider&exp=True From the site, this is in Tacoma: Even though I'm not to fond of navigating downtown Seattle, if you can time it right, you could always use this iconic landmark. A Gen-5 would look awesome in that light! Good luck. Can't wait to see what you come up with! |
