Got a little rain overnight, supposed to dry up pretty quick.

Been at work 35 minutes, the wind is drying it up fast. But that also means there's a pretty good wind blowing.

Ended up with a best of 8.33 @ 78 in the eighth. On a 2.6 60'......Not too horrible for its first time down the track, ol girl should go mid 13s in decent weather.

Gotta find me a tire setup for this beast.

I have two SIM within five miles of me but they are the v6. One is all stock and the other will have some v6 mods.

I got picked up the other night. Cop was nice, he let me keep my DL and job. I still have all my Road Rally decals on my car. We took 9th place out of 129 cars. We were only four minutes off the leader. Roy...

Close encounter tonight. My wife just texted me that a house caught on fire down the road. I guess it is only 4 or 5 houses down. Thankfully it is under control. No word on how everyone in the home is doing, but I know that my sleeping beauty is doing okay. I think next year I may take it off the stands during storage.

Got my new stage 3 700hp monster clutch put in today. wow did the old fly wheel and pressure plate have some heat marks in them. a lot residue behind transmission on the back of engine block. everything else looked good at least. will post some pics sometime.


i am in for a get together whenever. i am having surgery on the 13 to have a bone removed from my foot, and having lasik on the 26, so i maybe out depending on the date. but will try and make anything that gets set up.

As far as get togethers...I had suggested a bowling get together in Cedar Rapids. I can get working on that if I have an idea of how many people would like to attend. For the sake of getting things started, let's say the weekend of the 21st of this month. Who would like to work with that date to have a lunch (pizza at the alley?) and bowl a few games? We could set it up that everyone who bowls brings a $5-10 car related prize to toss into the pot (wheel cleaner, microfiber anything, leather care, hot wheels, ect...) and we can have drawings based on highest score, lowest score, best game...ect. That way everyone goes home with a prize. Kids are welcome. Wives/Husbands as well. Could be a fun day.
