This does suck and I'd be pissed if it were my car...BUT I'm sure there will be problems. It would be unrealistic to think that every car (whether delayed or on time) would be 100% perfect. I'm sure whatever it is its isolated and can be fixed. Good luck!

Any product that is mass manufactured is gonna have some that have issues. This being the only incident that we have heard of so far, I am not too concerned. If it becomes a trend, then we have a major issue. Hopefully, this isn't the case.

is it possible you were using the valet key?

and did it just cut off or did it act like it ran out of gas?

I also feel your pain on this....

I had a SSr brand new driving home from the dealership maybe 20 miles on the ODO and it just cuts off... left me on the side of the road and wouldn't start... i was pretty upset. Turned out that the detail people cleaned the engine compartment and got water into the air filter? or something and the sensors picked up water in the intake and shut it down.. maybe something similar

She's there now and awaiting the fine knowledge of Chevrolets, hopefully, highly trained technicians. I hope to have her back real soon. Kinda like a tease ya know...... Sucks majorly...

I think it sounds like an electrical problem. May be something simple. Good luck.

Same thing happened to my new Solstice a couple of years ago. Coudn't get key out, etc. Battery was bad. Got new battery. Never had a problem again.

I got almost 200 miles on my new SS/RS. Running like a champ.

That is what happens when security shuts it down. Bad modules have happened on GM models the past couple yrs.They need to check manufactures on those modules.Getting too common.
