I orderd VR/RS package. I have never been a fan of the stripes but the pics here make me wish I had gotten them. I agree they do in fact add character to the car, no doubt. I would like to get some glossy ones painted on my car at some point, hope it doesnt turn out to be one of those things you say you are going to do and never do. If I had the money I would set up an app. as soon as I took delivery. I like both stripes but I kinda favor the glossy ones painted on the other car and for some reason I have never liked any kind of stickers on my cars and just couldn't get used to the fact that the stripes are stickers added on at the dealer.
Oh, whell. Beautiful car you got there, I am envious.

Ha, in fact I have to drive through Michigan State often, as my brother and girlfriend both go there. The reactions to this car is awesome! People catch up to me and roll down their windows just to give me a thumbs up or yell "sweet ride man!" I've had at least 5 people at stop lights ask how I like it, and when I got it. Even on the highways people will kind of slow down next to me and check out the car for a few seconds, get a big smile, then give me a thumbs up. Women on the sidewalks will see it go by and start screaming (I'm serious too!) My girlfriend doesn't like that too much though...

Lots of camera phones, pointing, waves... Its really quite incredible.

Oh, and gas station attendants looove to talk about this car.

being that this is the exact car that i ordered, i am in awe and very very pleased with how it looks. Now i just have to wait my turn. A big congrats to you tho man

Thanks! There's a few of us on Camaro5 with this configuration, I think you all will love it! Certainly is an attention getter! I thought about going with blue or black or yellow, but I'm glad I stuck with my gut and went red/black! You won't be disappointed.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. I was hopeing for glossy stripes, but the flat black are starting to grow on me as well.

Very nice!! I can see the flat black stripes being a little easier on your eyes, at least from the drivers seat on a sunny day. Having the hood bulge, and a bright sun shining off that lovely angle would give some heavy glare to the driver and passenger i imagine.
The flat black stripe would practically eliminate that i bet! (But nobody thinks of that until they drive the car on a sunny day eh? lol)

Yup, it covers up that angle nicely. Same thing with bright lights at the track I'm sure.

now you just need to paint the calipers red

the well in front of the car kinda takes away from the whole picture, but nonetheless an amazing ride. got me rethinking my color choice from silver!

Yeah, painting the calipers is on my list, we'll see when I get to it.

And thankfully we have some talented photoshoppers who can magically make things like well heads disappear
