I received news my car, vin #3714, was stuck on a railcar in Ohio for some kind of problem with the train?? or something like that! My deliver date on the invoice was 4/29-5/01/09. Those guys had me on the any day delivery deal. No idea when it is coming now.

Hooray, my VIN (A9104768) is finally showing up in the 2010_Camaro_VINS.xls file, hooray, but it's not showing up on the camaro.spasticsquirrel.com site (when was that last updated? It's been at 1739 for a long time now) or in the Rail_Shipped_VINs.xls file.

So, my question is, are the next steps for tracking going to the Dealer and making them call the DBC telephone number (Phone: 1-888- 414-6322. Fax: 1-866-238-7403) - to locate the Railroad information, etc? If I am off base here, what should my next steps be? Can I call the DBC directly?

Thanks for any assistance!

If you have a railcar number, I can show you how to track it.
If you don't have the railcar number, and it's not on KK's list, then you'll need to call your dealer and have him call the Dealer Business Center and get it from them.

I hope this question has not been already asked but if it has if someone could point me to the right place it would be great. On the Railroad tracking excel spreadsheet I see a lot of terms that dont really say what it really means. Is there a log of these terms all in one place so that we would be able to figure out what is going on. Hear is some examples of the terms I am referring to:
Departure
Arrive In Transit
Junction Recieved
Hold or Delayed
Release from Customer
Placed Actual
Bad Order Release
Arrive Destination
Pulled from customer
Placed Construct
Storage

Ok I think that about covered it. I know that each of these has been answered but it is all over the thread and it would be so very helpful to have it all in one place. Thanks so much to the guys making this thread work so very well.

I wish that were true, but the count for VINs less than 2200 has barely changed. The status has changed, but the count has barely moved. Even including Scott and Stephanine's Camaro (#230) it is only up to 27. I am super happy they are getting theirs, but approximately 1.2% of the first 2200 are on the list versus 36% of the cars over VIN 2200. i.e. Your chance of getting a car with a VIN over 2200 is 30 TIMES greater.

Patiently hoping the low VIN count rockets after the May 6th date.

We don't have a list of the VINs that were moved to Pontiac, MI. Once cars are in the US, I don't think KK2010SS's regular process is able to get the railcar number and add them to his tracking spreadsheet.
