I'm confused as well. bbardo is a member of the UpstateC5 club and was at a few events last year with us.

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, I can't find the post referenced or any info on the user "abljoajejdnn" originally quoted. Maybe moderators have cleaned something up and deleted that user. bbardo hasn't posted anything recently but his stuff still looks fine.

I'd like to know. PM me. Anyway, this event is over 7 months away. It's good to be made aware of upcoming events, but we don't want to get in a position where post #1 is overwhelmed with too many things. We're just trying to keep focus on the short/medium term events. Things like Frederick & BBOMG are a little different as they are national (or hemi-spherial in BBOMG's case) and take more planning.

bbardo lives in the town next to me. He is doing fine. We can expect to see him at some of our events this year. He is signed up for the June 2nd event in Geneva.

X2 I went and met him for the first time (for me) about a month ago, super nice guy like all our members I have met.

Hey Jeff , if you need to say something about the way we run things , say it , you dont need to pm the OP . As mark posted we have 4 large shows , that we are planning for , 1 the geneva show , that is taking mine, steves and marks time , 2.The nationals which is taking My time ,3. Watkins Glen race weekend which Mark is handling , and 4. BBomg which Iam involved in to some extent with design, . Plus i have been working on 2 other sites .

Due to the fact that it is only Feb,29 ,and you only have 32 days , for your car to come out , how do i know this , geez let me guess, and seeing that the rod run isnt until october , that is 8 months away , i really dont see the need to rush into posting ,or getting all pissy because, no one has show any interest.

When august rolls around i will post the event on the first page,and we will put YOU in charge of all the line up and making sure who is going and sending 25 or 30 PM in one night ,plus Emails , to get meeting times and directions straight and then we can see how much of a prude you are . Its not as easy as people think it is .

If you recall ANDY I respected you & Mark for everything you guys do And made it known at Speedie fest ,remember ?


, If you really read my post , This has nothing to do with YOU or anyone here....You guys are jumping the gun ,,,I never said anything bad about us as a club....I never asked to have it on page 1# .... It was just something I heard aboutand made a post to let other know about it , I never asked if any one wanted to go , I never asked to make a list , I'did'nt ask nothing ,, Maybe just Maybe if you thought about it I asked pepole to PM for the reason why , I was trying to be Polite to the Rod Run Club... And not disrespect them in any way ,,,The person that runs that club posted here , But on thier Forum he posted something different , and I just wanted to let our club know ,,, So okay after all of this , The way the Rod Run was set up ...

1. No Daily Drivers need apply
2. it was never thier intentions to have 20-30 or 40 of the same car .
3. its mostly old time hot rods , with a few new cars in the mix..

So after reading this , I felt it was actually not in our clubs best intrest to invade them , Yeah it would be nice if one ar two cars where there , But if you look at , NUMBER 2#... 30 -40 cars really need not apply ..

So more or less I felt like we were'nt invited,,,

THIS IS WHAT WAS POSTED ON THIER SITE TO ME .....I know it was not bad , But I just felt like we did'nt need to bother with doing it thats all...But to each is own ,,, Ifyou want to go , go ahead ... I was going to pass....

We had one 5th gen join us last year and maybe you'll bring a few more this year? I really don't push to much on the model specific forums (do more on general hot rod type forums), because as much as it's nice to have a good sized group, it was never my intentions to have 50 of the same car join us each year. I think part of the draw is having a get blend of all cars, new and old. We are still looking for our first AMC to join us, because we had two that had to bailout last year


I guess in the end , Yeah hope you can join us and a couple more ,,, But really to be polite they don't want us as a group ,,20 -30 -50 of the same car........

SO NOW I'LL GET SLAMED BY THE ROD RUN GROUP BECAUSE I POSTED ALL OF THIS ,,,,,,,,,WHICH I WAS TRYING TO ADVOID...........
