Run into! What should I check?

Big ass truck ran into my back. Pretty hard hit from what i felt. No air bags. I thought the back of my car was going to be completely destroyed.

Got out and there was literally NO damage to the bumper. A couple scratches, nothing bad. Just needs a little paint.

I checked the meth lines and the meth bottle which are in the trunk to make sure all was right. I pulled away semi-hard to make sure everything was fine.

Anything I should look for tonight at shop to make sure nothing is damage? Like suspension wise? Or something? The hit was pretty hard and rocked the car. But he got the most damage. His front bumper had a metal bar that was bent completely in (lol thank god chinese metal).

Anyway, what should I check for tonight?

Remove rear bumper/fascia and check the actual bumper for damage?

Did this guy give you his insurance info? Was information passed between you and him, because if he rear-ended you, he or his insurance company is liable for ANY damages to your car.

So, this would be a good time to take it to a good body shop, get an estimate...and have the guy take care of it.

How I wish this country worked that way

He was uninsured, in a 20 year old truck, that was rusting.

Any and all damage I will have to cover with pocket money. Insurance here is picky as hell to cover you.

The hit didn't even indent my plastic bumper cover just left a scratching mark so I doubt the actual bumper suffered any damage.

I hope this was lost in translation.
Crawl under the bumper, should be easy to tell if something is broken or bent under the bumper fascia.

Well my biggest fear was it had done something to my water meth system since is is mounted in the middle of the trunk right when you open it behind the netting.

Car seems fine and accelerated fine. Boost came in and all was well. But will do a more detailed inspection tonight when I can get the car lifted up.

Why is that surprising,? He lives in Central America.

OP, put the car on a lift and you would be able to see the extent of the damage. It doesn't sound like there is much to worry about though. Good luck.
