That's the problem when people see new car parked all the way to they back they like to park next to you and they don't car if they hit the car or not, i remember back in 2007 when I got my H3 at Home Depot some a-hole parked next to me, I was still in they truck when he slams the door and hits my step on the truck I got so mad, oh and guess his response don't worry its nothing besides the truck is a piece of S###, OMG I went nuts with the guy.

possibly, unfortunately for us, we will know of these problems w/ our cars as they are delivered. normal cars you would buy off the lot, it's most likely sitting on the lot for a while already, and if it was delivered w/ a ding or whatnot it was repaired immediately by the dealership before being put out for people to see. we are in a situation where these cars are (for the most part) coming in specifically for us, and therefore we are seeing these things just as soon as the dealership is too, and they don't have that opportunity to fix them before a customer sees it. fortunately, we have seen here and on the one that lost the mirror that the dealerships are more than willing to make it right for delivery.

bummed to hear about the delay Scott, but hopefully they can get it fixed correctly and promptly for you and your daughter.

My '85 Berlinetta (seeing a trend here?) had it's nose caved in by some A-hole in an old LTD in Pi...nevermind PA and he left his bumper a good 4-inches INTO my nose. I was P.O.'d to say the least. I waited a good 30 mins for the person to show up, and then decided to just leave him/her a note. On a rock. In the back seat. Problem was delivering the note with the doors locked. It took a mighty heave, but it made it in the seat just fine

So, no, I do not take it well when people mistreat the property I work hard for.

The worse news was the following day I went to look at my poor Camaro with it's nose all caved in...to find that it had bounced back out! Other than a couple hundred stress cracks in the paint...boink! It popped right back out.

Probably cannot say the same for the guys rear window, huh?

Very sorry to hear that, its never good to have a dent, let alone on your brand new camaro that you have been waiting so long for. Best of luck to you, tell them to throw in a GMPP exhaust or cold air intake for the troubles!!!

Better at the delivery billed to GM than at the local parking lot. I am sure they will do you right. Enjoy the car and let us know the outcome of the repair.

Sorry to hear Scott.

It is not GM's fault for damage in shipping, but they and/or the dealer and/or the trucking company will get it fixed. It is a car, but it is the same when UPS or FedEx damages a package during shipping. Unfortunately it does happen. It's like the old phrase "That's like trying to blame Ronald McDonald for a bad burger..." just a goofy phrase, but it has merit.

Just bummed it was Scott and Steph.

People don't give a chit about other peoples property. Park in a parking lot and you're taking the chance that while you're away from your car, some jackass in a '77 T-bird (a big ass boat) parks next to your ride and swings his 10 foot long door open and smashes into the side of your car. Why does this happen? Because people driving pieces of chit don't care about their piece of chit, why should they care about yours? It sucks, but it's the world we live in. Shop somewhere that has shopping carts and you will inevitably come out to your car with a shopping cart laying up against the side of it.
I hate people.
