Down here at the LSX Challenge in Bradenton, and one of ECC's own....Diamond Mike.... now has the fastest 5th Gen Camaro in the world!! Way to go Mike

I don't know all the details of his motor....but it's an LS crate motor with lots & lots & lots of mods.....LOL! It's a custom build. I'm trying to post a picture of the motor and of the timeslip, but either my picture program, or C5 is not cooperating. I'll keep working on it.

His time was an 8:15 @ 168 MPH....enough to beat the Lingenfelter car (previous #1) !!

Nice pass and I'm sure that is has more in it as much of a "Drag car" as it is. It's a tube chassis car, so I'm sure 7's are in it as it sits.

Oh...without a doubt. I'm sure we'll see 7's today. He cut a 1:17 60 ft time on Friday, but then spun at about the 60 ft marker, so only ran an 8:60 on that pass. Plus they made quite a few adjustments during the afternoon yesterday. If he can get that kind of 60 ft time again, and stay in it the whole way, he should see the car well into the 7's today.

Looking forward to seeing y'all Tuesday at the Ale House. Do we need to call ahead for seating or is it pretty much come and take over there or?? Gonna be great to see some of you before I leave out.

Lastly, been kinda busy the last few days with, of course the Navy stuff, but helpin a few of my ECC brothers and sisters wrap up some of their projects that they were workin on.

Got FosterSS set up with a custom Southwest Speed Stage 2 Cam/Springs/Rods. Went down to FWB to help him finish up the install. Went well and got it over to XXX Friday afternoon where John Weeks got it on the rollers and tuned up.

Made 471rwhp/428tq on the 4th pass. John is a tuning master over there.....he totally gets my endorsement for any tuning needed around here!

From talking to Nick over the weekend, he seems like he's enjoyin the new found 139hp he gained from the Cam and Headers we got him hooked up with.

Let's see how long before he's wanting more.

Went out to "West Pensacola" yesterday to get with UFNWish (Mellissa) to get her converted over from a 1LS to a 1LS with Fog Lights and colorSHIFT Halos. Now she can rock the Pink halos or Green whenever she wants!

Finished up the day yesterday going out to Pace to see Richard (DickSS) since he won't be able to make it out Tuesday. Really appreciative of him and his wife to invite myself and a couple Sailors out for some BBQ. Richard can really cook a killer BBQ by the way....guy has some killer hidden grillin talent!!

Nailed down to the Base today for some laundry, NASCAR and Meeks Watch.

Really hopin to see that Camaro put the nail in the competition today! They've worked their asses off on that car and getting it out there. Nobody deserves it more than they do.

Go Emerald Coast Camaros!!
