Hi guys, I'm not dead yet. We hope to close on the new house in Colorado Springs between the end of this month and the middle of April, no foolin'. Anyone hear if there is supposed to be a ZL1 in Denver for the auto show this weekend? If so, I promise to take lots of pics. I suppose the right place to post about that would be in the "Denver Auto Show" thread... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209395

Hey OldScool, I replaced the WABAC parts last night, and it's ready to go.
I thought I'd give it a spin tomorrow, as I need a break from all of the whining and interloper pot stirring that's occurred here recently. So, if you're not busy tomorrow, and you're up for it, set yours for 1967, Saturday, June 10, 9:00 AM PDT, 37.997082 N, 122.529466 W, and I'll see you there. We'll take the "Trans-Love Bus Lines" provided rides up to the amphitheater (I'd drive the 67 Pace Car, but with the crowds it might get damaged) . Bring $2.00 for admission. Canned Heat, Country Joe, Moby Grape, the Byrds, the Airplane, the Doors, and many others will be performing. Anyone else who is interested is welcome to come. -

Awesome suggestion 'Bear, lets fire up the WAYBAC's. Here's a pic from the stage while Jefferson Airplane was on it looking out towards the crowd at the Mt. Tamalpais Amphitheater in Marin County CA on that date...., in reverse direction out towards where you were I presume....?
![]() I would have loved to see that collection of performers all together at one time Bear....at that epic ground breaking performance during The Summer of Love.

OldScool, I see that you figured out where we're headed. Good work. Nice back stage picture of Jorma, Jack, and Grace. Yes, that is a reverse shot looking northwest, whereas, we in the audience were facing generally south. Bring a windbreaker as there will be some fog before the show. After the show we can head over to the house for some "refreshments," and listen to the new Beatles LP (very cool cover) and give Are You Experienced a spin. If you enjoy yourself, we can hang out and on the following Friday, the 16th, we can head down to 36.594600 N, 121.862411 W.
Preview of coming events -- .

I think I need to do something to my car. visit a common wealth of our country and a different country and see my car. there are 1 too many of it already.

So I'm walking out of the McDonalds this morning and my car is parked right outside the door. My first thought is "WTF, why is that Escalade parked so.ose to my ............" WHAM the guy flings the door open with a BIG shot to my front fender. I started yelling at the guy and all he can do is appogize 10 times and run into the restaurant.
Damn it all to Escalade drivers from Wisconsin. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Nope. I asked him if he was sorry enough to pay for it and he just kept saying he was sorry while moved quickly to the restaurant.
Just not sure if it's worth fixing. I'm pretty picky about stuff like that. One little sent and I feel like I'm rolling in a hoopty mobile.
