The new Viper is exactly the model for the 6Gen Camaro, why? It is a very good EVOLUTION of what was liked about the Viper. That should be the thinking behind the changes from the 5th to 6th generation Camaro.

I think the viper lost it's way. it was the only super car with no nannies. now it has many.

It was what made it awesome, but was also its achilles heel.

There are some other no frills Super Cars; Gumpert and I don't remember the others.

Success will depend on the price. If they do a mid 50's and compete with the Corvette then maybe some volume for them........................mid 70s and you can say also ran. JMO

I don't think so either. What was the old Viper? mid 70's? I think they are a Z06 competitor or even ZR1.

Always felt claustrophobic being around or sitting in a Viper. Never attracted to them. Even if it was $ competitive with a Camaro (which it won't be). Yes.. it will be targeted at Z06/Zr1

I'll agree. If anything they may have moved a little more upscale benefitting from the association of the other Fiat brands.

I think the features that are going to be on the care make it more appealing to a wider audience. but not true to the original car.

no but I see lots of bunnies running around here.
