OEM Wheel Peeling Issue???
Has anyone else had this problem? (Yes I still need a picture)
I noticed over the winter my wheels were pitting where the spoke meets the outer rim of the wheel. So this morning I get out of my car at work and as usual give the car a once over as I lock it and walk away. To my disbelief the spots that were pitting are now big air bubbles. I just ran my car through the car wash and at first thought it was just some brake dust that didnt come off and gummed up in the corners of the spokes. I wiped one of them off and the coating on the wheel came right off! I lived with the pitting because it wasnt very noticeable but this is just to much. My car now has 40k on it and my biggest fear is the dealership isnt going to fix it. I cant wait to hear their story about how my mods have caused this problem! So has anyone else had their OEM wheels pitting or peeling?

They all do it. Solution is to strip and powdercoat or replace with something you like better. I did the latter.
