well it is official...car is gone but at least i wont owe anything on it.

Is the Insurance going to sell it as a rebuildable??

if i thought i had the resources to put it back together i would keep it, i have that option but would cost me 4 grand to keep it (basically my car loan would have a 4k balance). im scarred of keeping it and it just sits there a wreck forever...

Well, there is that. Sucks man, body shop dude will probably own it by end of today. Buy it back from him after he fixes it.

i also found out that the oil pan was destroyed as well as the steering rack, few other things i didnt know about...im better off buying another one then screwing with this one.

Sorry to hear they're totalling it! It's hard to let go of an old friend but maybe you can find a way to get another ws6 or camaro!

In my way in to work (late) I took a different route and saw one on the side of the road for sale. I'll try to check it out on the way home.

So sorry to hear about your car. Just remember you're still one one of us, and we're here for ya if you want to vent, reminisce, or need help finding a new monster to roll in.

Lot's of WS6's out there for sale, they may not be YOURs but it's an opportunity to make another car your own again. OR Maybe it's time to rock a 5th gen :-D

Trying to be the voice of optimism here hehe. Either way, look forward to meeting you this summer. Only got to pass you on my way to work once and man that car was sweet. I have a soft spot for those TA's A buddy of mine used to have a black WS6 and man was it fast. Took me for a ride in it once. Was the second muscle car I'd ever been in . (first was a 72 chevelle SS) It was such a blast! Out of 3 cars that inspired me to buy my SS that was the second.
