Pressure Release Bolt Wrench

I've searched the forums, the Owner Manual, and the car. Where is the "provided wrench" located??? Is there a place where it gets secured to a bracket/clip or something? Or is it loose and normally kept in the glove compartment?

I figured that I ought to know where it is in case I ever need it.

Thanks!

My salesman gave me mine when I purchased the vehicle.

D'oh! Found it under the passenger seat, still in its bag...

I was going to just dedicate one from my tool set, but now I don't have to.

Thanks everyone.

I have discovered that I don't have this wrench either.
Can someone post a pic of it, tell me what size, type.
The only thing i could gather from a google search was from a corvette forum. them mentioned it being a 6mm allen wrench. None of the allen wrenches I have are long enough to fit down into the hole to find out.
I am going to see if I can get a replacement from me dealer, but worst case does anyone know a part # or where to order it ?

So what is the Pressure Release Bolt Wrench actually used for?

The Convertible Top (Power) Hydraulic Pump Wrench is used to assist in manually raising the top when it has become inoperable as a result of certain factors (i.e. temperature too cold, low battery power, hydraulic system overheated or failed, etc.). The wrench should come in a labeled plastic ziploc bag.

See sections 2-22, 2-23 & 2-24 of your 2011 Owners Manual for specifics on how the wrench is used.

You're right, it's a 6mm hex key. One leg on mine is 200mm long, or close to 8". There is no PN on the bag, so I can't get that information. BTW, the label on the bag calls it the Convertible Top (Power) Hydraulic Pump Wrench. There's a mouthful...
