Not sure if I need that bra for the front of my camaro or chicken wire. Went for a ride this afternoon and at about 65 hit a dove, thing turned to a big feather shower and me with the top down. End up with feathers stuck in the grill and in the car, good thing is no damage. Its is dove season isnt it?

I will not be making it to the Sycamore show tomorrow night. I will be heading down to pull the engine out of my '76. I am uber excited to have a new engine in that car and after doing some initial calcs, for more or less a standard 350 ci, it will be stout (310 HP/ 370 TQ [CamQuest by Comp Cams]) and will sound wicked (.490 lift 268/274 duration). Hoping to have this project completed in a few weeks. One weekend out, one weekend in.

I love seeing the pictures and hearing all about the things our buddies do with their cars, within warranty boundaries and outside them.

They have nothing but 1000% of my support.

However, don't post them for the world to see, especially since we have GM people in this forum.

Keep them in an album and show us at the next get together. Pictures of your cars are fine at a car show, but not ones in drag racing magazines showing you on the strip.

GM licks their chops just waiting to catch someone doing stuff like that just to void a warranty.

I should beat on my car then...Factory warranty was voided at the time of delivery. I have a separate warranty that allows me to do things to my car if I so choose.

I agree with your stance though. Not too hard to research the car to find photos of the car on a track. Some members do a great job of covering plates though for the photo ops. Smart move.

I had a Corvette driver call my car a Mustang last night. I was not nice in my response. I asked him how a Chevrolet guy would not know another Chevrolet - especially one with an ICONIC profile (he was seeing it from the side) I am really surprised at how angry I got actually. He did apologize...guess he saw how I truly was.

Man it is getting a little heated in here. I think that I.C.E Cream social needs to hurry up and get so we can all cool off a bit.

Tim, the tires look great. All in all, I think the drag radials look neat to begin with. There are plenty of people who do spend the money to get them but never actually use them.
