How about as a sign of respect to the passing of a legend, we call a truce for the remainder of the day on any recent brand arguments and debates and honor a great man in the automotive field..

I know of at least 1 IOM Camaro that will be losing some tread life today in his honor.

RIP Sir... You earned it.

I like the idea of a burn out tribute.

I'm going to hop in my Mustang and do a burnout in his honor.

What particularly sucks about his passing is that with the market the way it is, it's unlikely we will ever see another Carroll Shelby. A legend in every sense of the word.

I always wanted to own a Shelby while he was still alive...

Carroll Shelby DID IT! He ignited the Muscle Car Wars and will forever be remembered. There was never and still is nothing like the AC Cobra he designed. He inspired, will always be admired. He made a difference! And, he DID IT with dignity. RIP Carroll Shelby.
