Girlfriend, her parents, my parents friends, people I talk to really wanted me to get it and are really excited for it to come. Especially when I told them the story about my parents screwing me over by buying my sister a brand new IS 250 for her first car when I got a POS Jetta. All is well though I'm splitting the car with my dad.

My wife loves the Transformer movie and Bumble Bee, so shes totally for getting a new Camaro, even a yellow one! ;D

She also knows I've always loved Camaros and Firebirds, but never had a nice one (had a POS '72 formula). This is our chance to finially get one. I've always had bad credit, but I'm doing alot better now =) I just have to get an automatic so she can drive it, which I'm fine with. But we probably can't afford the SS, but the 1LT is good enough =)

My boyfriend didn't believe me at first... until I took him down to the dealership with me, signed the paperwork, and put down a deposit.

He's really excited now. But not as much as me!!

I think his dad still thinks there is no way a girl could like cars as much as the two of them.

I'm okay with that.

My husband thinks I have gone nuts....he keeps telling me I am ridiculous....I don't care.......my ABM 1SS is in transit and I cannot wait to get her!!!!! I'll tear up his Roush in the driveway!

I've had my Scion for 3 years now and dumped a lot of money into it making it a show car and taking home a lot of trophies. When I told the girlfriend I wanted to start over with the Camaro I thought I'd be sleeping at my friends house for a month. She's been supportive but doesn't understand why I would want to start over again, of course she said that once I get it she'll be driving it.

I won't be able to go put a deposit down until the dirt lot we call a backyard fitted with grass and some kind of living crap like bushes so we can get a dog for the kid. I'm looking at having to spend about $5k in a backyard before I can work on getting my Camaro

I'm thinkin of just going to Costco and getting some of that fake grass in huge rolls and calling it a day and go car shopping

I didn't tell my wife until a week after I made my deposit. After a couple of drinks on a Saturday, I finally got up the nerve to tell her about the order at the dealership. She just look at me and said "Well you have your money and I have mine, .... Like the time I wanted to buy that area rug in the living room that was $600, I just had to get it". I'm like ....... "You paid $600 for that thing!"

My girlfriend is truly excited about my Camaro...we both spend our lunch breaks scanning the forum and email/talk about any news or info we found out during the day. We even have an agreement that no one is allowed to ride in my car until after the first 500 miles. She doesn't know how to drive stick and she doesn't want to learn on this car. I tried to teach her when I had my 07 Sky (which was pre-traded in on the SS) She also just ordered me a set of Bumblebee stripes for as a birthday present. But I could go on and on about how she is just excited about the car as I am...and then I could also say it only starts there and there's a whole other chapter on the motorcycle passion...but I'll keep this post short. haha

My girlfriend just shakes her head. Of course, she just bought a 2009 Mustang GT and was not amused when I told her that the V6 Camaro had more horsepower than her 'stang. I guess I "should" have kept that revelation to myself, I guess. Oh well, sometimes truth hurts!
