In all seriousness, the HP needed is significant. I'd say the Ford group won't let it sit for long like this.....

I tend to agree. 40-60 hp is significant but not hard or even that expensive. If a GT owner wants to be neck and neck with the SS Camaro it won't take a ton of effort. Certainly not Forced Induction.

In reality, big picture, the cars are comperable. Not equals, but comparable.

Why is this so hard for all us to understand?

"Normal" bolt-ons will do the trick. Headers, CAI, Cats, Tunes, Ignitions and the like. I don't know a lot about DOHC engines, but I'm guessing there are aftermarket cams. but that is about as advanced as you'd need to go IMO.

I obviously have chosen it after driving all 4 of the cars on my list. I will say this all people who like multiple cars that chime in on this thread , if someone says something rude or anti-Mustang just ignore them and move on so the thread will not be closed

you are not in a gang, you are not your car, i am on a few forums where i dont own the car they talk about.

there is a thing called being a car enthusiast not just a camaro enthusiast...people who like camaros also like other cars aka myself and many others here. what do you think the general car section was made for? to talk about the camaro as well? makes no sense....you can say you are sick of mustang threads but to say it shouldnt be here is a huge facepalm.

Nothing wrong with that at all. It's just IF I went to say a Mustang forum I am not going to post a thread on how great my car is or have a poll about do you think the new Camaro is cool or whatever. It's not appropriate in my opinion. Now if someone asked me a question about my car that's one thing, but I would not go there to make my car the center of a thread. It will only lead to bickering, flaming etc.

The Mustang is a nice car, but the rearend is hideous.
