Thank you Everyone.....alot of work and money went into this. But im very happy with the outcome.

That unit is made by milwaukee, its the same thing as a dremel, and the rotary bit was a "thick" Metal cutting 1 1/4 disk.

I was wondering the same before i did it, but it feels exactly the same, the two main supports are still intact in the middle and one support beam connect them across. Plus the hood is all seam sealed together everywhere from the factory so its nice and tight....but boy it was a scare factor from the begining....The T-3 vents are 2 part epoxy and Hex vents are held up with 6 T brackets each

Someone did a study on just the hex vents and engine temps were 20 degrees cooler and cool down time was signifigant. Whenever i stop at a light its like im looking through a fire with all the heat coming out now.!!

Good luck....they were a breeze compared to the T-3 vents...The instructions on hex vent are fantastic.
