I hope someone finally figures this out. It's ludicrous that you have to keep doing fuse pulls and battery disconnects to make your car run strong.

If you really catch the mod bug, keep in mind, a tuner will be able to "fix" your car for good. Why GM couldn't do this to begin with is beyond me.

I use to have a 2010 Corvette and after buying the Camaro I noticed a lack of mid range torque. I was talking to my wife about this last week and even she mentioned it was a bit weak below 4K but I figured it was due to tall gearing and extra weight.

I did the fuse pull tonight and now it is VERY strong from 3K up and feels exactly like my Vette did.

If i knew this with veh, i would of kept my 2004 vett, that would blow away [yes it would] when my camaro is down on its power.. At least i didnt have to reset anything on the stock vette... very disapointed in camaro at this point

Might have to tune it. It really sucks that owners have to deal with this.

For us M6/LS3 owners, did you do the battery also?

My guess would be that the dealership put the right kind of fuel in it.

My brother-in-law works for a Chevy dealership and takes the cars right off the truck for their first inspection and fill up... he said he always puts the recommended fuel in but not everyone does.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but what causes the lack in power, and how do you know if you are missing power to begin with?

The ecm senses the lower octane and retards the ignition timing to keep the motor from damaging itself.
You can tell if it has the problem or not by letting me test drive it for you.

Best way is to time your car in some 0-60 runs and even quarter mile runs. Then pull the fuses.
