That means that his cars order was placed against an existing allocation that the dealer had available. So him being at 2030 (which means someone from GM looked at it) is still better than being at 1100

2030 is the same as 1100. 2030 just means someone at GM looked at the order for some reason. Why 2030 is lower than 2000 don't know.

In my history, it shows that I only obtained 2030 after it was at 2000 status. 2000 status means it was placed against an allocation that the dealer will receive. It's much better than the dealer just placing the order against a future allocation that they didn't have open yet.

This is incorrect. I know it's weird, but 2000 is better than 2030 and can happen afterwards. Orders can sit forever at 2030. My order has had 6 views. it was 2030 and was just assigned an allocation from the dealer on 6/8. My order was 2030 before my dealer even received their first allocation. You don't need an allocation to be at 2030. Being at 2030 is no different than being at 1100 as far as your order moving along.

Since my dealer just got their allocation last week and assigned it to my order it will most likely be Wednesday before I see a status update. The consensus week goes from Thursday til Tuesday night. This is the amount of time the dealer has to assign their allocation and make sure there are no constraints against the order they want to go through.

I hope they crank these cars out fast from the start. Maybe I'll get a TPW assigned this week or next. I'd love an early July build date.

Mine didn't go to 3400 til Thursday night I guess and it wasn't updated for until Friday mid morning and I have a TPW of 6/11!! Keeping the faith for ya!!
