I am royally pissed!

I took my car in to get the recall fixed, and they kept it for 6 hours and did nothing to it, it gets better. Last night I was cleaning my car and drying it and I noticed a bulge in the right bumper by the tire and that the bumper didn't line up with the body and lights. When I looked even closer their was a paint bubble. The story gets even better I was talking to a couple while doing this who has bought a V6 Camaro. They started quizzing me about the car and asked what year is it, and of course I thought are they retarded, and they asked me what I paid. Well they started telling me that the dealer told them that my Camaro was a 2009 and that I paid 49,000 for it. Well I of course told them the truth. The dealer their told them that their car had a 4.7 litre V6. I of course laughed and told them the truth. They also wanted to know why the Camaro didn't come with a Window Sticker, and I laughed and handed them mine and said I have one. Long Story Short, the dealer screwed them over and it tearing my car up. "GM" this is why you are losing business so quick to other companies. Now I haft to drive 2 hours to get my car serviced because I don't trust the dealer who services it, because they are incompetent.

dealer must have done this since I am sure you thoroughly checked over the car prior to taking delivery. I am sorry.....but you have had your car how long amd you just now noticed this????

with all do respect, I don't think blaming GM will do you or anyone any good now.

On another note, incompetent dealers 'taking' customers for more than rhey should is no new news. IMO, GM has NO fault here and this is completely out of their hands......

seems like we r so quick to blame...

Talk to your service dept they might fix it for you. Try little sugar first before the baseball bat.

Lot of dealers have body shop too.

completlely agree vash. and readig back over my post, I didnt mean to be rude. GM knows they have issues with dealers too. ur car can b fixed....bubble? that's warranty...and so is a misaligned bumper...which is why the warranty exists.

unfortunatley GM can't do anything about the dealers.

Well i'm gonna take it to the dealer for them to fix what they screwed up. I'm not going to take it their anymore, i'll just take it to san antonio to get it fixed. By the way people link dealers with GM, just thought i'd let y'all know that.

^Yep...and that's what irks me. Dealers are completely separate. They are their own entity. But, if you are talking about the general public, this problem would be covered over every other type of car, no matter what you buy.

In other words, this could have happened to a beamer, audi, stang, etc. Regardless of the type of car, the customer would probably associate the problem with the car to the company that built it. ...I don't know if I'm making any sense. Again, not trying to be rude. Just saying...

If you do take it to San Antonio, I LOVE Anicra.....FOR THE BODY AND SERVICE SHOP.....the sales guys tick me off....but that's another thread.

I was considering going to Benson from now on for my work. But, I am good friends with Bob and Anthony (shop foreman) at Ancira. They always take care of me.
