Engine Burbles after shift.

Please help me with a har cracked Enginr / Transmission plroblem!
I have just been owner of a 2011 2SS Convertible and so far I am more than happy!

The car was imported to me here in Sweden from the US a couple of month ago and since the car is only used in good weather there have so far not been so many trips.

I have been reading alot on different Chevy and Camaro forums about the car and have read alot good and some bad (most good off course).
I contacted one of the few GM dealers in this Country, and they where very understanding and wanted to help, but without any experience of the Camaro they have problem helping me, so now I ask you for help!

When driving slow, 10-30 mph, it sometimes feels like the engine dont run on all cylinders, like a bad spark plug? the engine get a kind of small wibrations.
It comes exactly when the trans shifts, and mainly from 2:nd to 3:rd. If you have very little gas and no load on the engine.. It feels like there are a valve opening! And the engine burbles! As soon you give some extra gas it dissaper!

The spontane feeling are that it feels (like a 2 stroke engine with bad fuel/gas mixture) should be called four-stroking.
When I hit the throttle is rews up like it should and the power are there...

Does your car have a manual or automatic transmission?

I always use 98 octane gas!
The problem comes ONLY when car is driven very calm..

Sounds like cylinder deactivation. Cuts down cylinders to save fuel and when you get on the gas all 8 comeback

What your experiencing is AFM Active Fuel Management which shuts down 4 cylinder at low rpm and light throttle.

We turn that off with a Custom Tune.

JUst have Ted Janetty hook you up with a tune for the engine and trans, your going to love it. I did one about 2 months ago and have never loved my car more than after it was done. Worth every penny or the few hundred it costs.

Purchase and SCT X3 Tuner off my site, when you receive it follow the instructions provided to obtain your Custom Tune via email.

I will turn off AFM for Ever!!

Lose the AFM. The tune is totally worth it. Fuel management on a muscle car...yeah, that makes sense, LOL

Nice Ted, that is why I asked whether it was manual or automatic, figure that was what he was experiencing.

Scanparts, this is a really simple process all done by e-mail once you have the tuner.
