Ok...what gives? The dealership I work at, was invoiced over three weeks ago for VIN 5937 (I think...under 6000 anyways)...IOM 2SS and we still haven't seen hide nor hair of it. Why?

i'm thinking you're stuck on QC hold my friend. i believe the last hold got up to VIN 7000...........

i was told you couldn't see your window sticker until you're shipped. i cant see mine because i'm 3800 in the system and not shipped, yet i already have it.

DOH!! Would you happen to have any clue as to how long these cars are going to be held up in QC? I'm dying here! lol

none. i know it's taking awhile for some, IF you are there, it's only for the battery cable thing and none of the other crap.

i'd keep having your dealer call the DBC and plead for a TRUE answer........even if it's a QC hold.

I found out today I went to 3400 on 05/21!!! What's funny is my dealer didn't even tell me but a different one who is a member of this forum happily looked it up for me.

Called Chevy 800 # today and after the rep told me 3 times that the dealer (no help here - they act like they never heard of GM Gobal Connect or Work Bench #'s or Allocations) has the best info. After stating that I'm holding off my current ride buyer (somewhat true, the guy's being very patient and tells me he can wait), the rep told me the Camaro was accepted, but no TPW. I try not to bust my dearers olives, I call about every 10 days, the most they tell me is that it's on it's way.

I have pre-approval for a loan through my credit union which holds the lein on my 2008 Sky Redline. If I get a call from the dealer and they say "it's here, come pick it up" with no warning, I've got to wait for my buyer to get his funding together, go to the CU, do the payoff and release of lein, get my loan, change insurance, etc.. I won't get the car for a few days which will kill me. :( (my sympathies to the pre-orders. I know you're waiting longer than me. )

IOM 2SS/RS manual, gray interior (didn't like the IO interior (sorry, IMO, no offence intended, and am tired of black)

First new car: 1971 SS Camaro, Hugger Orange, 4 on the floor. (Yea, I'm old)

1100- 4/6/09
2000- 4/7/09
3000- ??????

As most of you know, the rest of these numbers mean squat at this time.

The dealer actually called me for a change. Still no workbench numbers, but he states I'm scheduled for production so I guess I can add

3300 - ????? sometime late May
3400- ??????

The wait continues.

I went to my dealer today, got my out the door price for my bank, looked at the invoice, shows shipped on 5/13, invoice on 5/20, the window sticker was available on 5/22....... no delivery date though, CS said it left the plant last week........, kinda aggrivating though...... :bangdesk:
