so I'm thinking of changing up my vanity plate

Suggestions? or should I keep it?

I would keep it.I was surprised how often I have to explain my plate (SYNERG),but it is usually to people not familiar with the Synergy package.The average Joe wants to know what color it is and if it is a factory color,then the explanation begins.I love vanity plates and their variations.All my cars have them.(VEGAV.8,MY.VEGA,MY.BRAT and my initials).They are great conversation pieces and yours is unique.

Chris - your plate is your decision. I guess everyone always asks "Who's back?" and you can say "The Camaro, of course!"

I would love to get vanity plates, but I can't buy into the how much the freakin' state charges for them. And it's not just the upfront cost, but don't they tack on an additional fee at each registration? It's like, you've already given me the custom plate and charged me for the special set up...why the "maintenance fee"? Why are custom plates special? They have to keep track of everyone else's plates anyway???

Just ordered mine in June: $50 just to get in the door (if they're approved) then I think $125 or more once they come in to swap reg's, then $72/yr. Steep, yes. I hope I get them by fall.
