Excellent!!! Trap speed and car weight and 60' all come into play, as well as where the car is making the power. I see roots type blowers with quick ET's and lower trap speeds, and the opposite on some turbo cars.

Get that 60" down a few tenths and the ET will drop half second or more.

What trans do you have? Suspension mods?

Do you have an HP Tuner log of one of your passes? I've looked at the manual table. If about the same at the lower cyl airmass g/cyl frames as the auto then you can add some advance to help that 60' somewhat. It would take a looser converter for real gains. You are making enough power for a 1.6 or better 60'.

So let's look at it this way. I trap 112mph with a few bolt ons. Stock rims, stock tires, no weight reduction. I'm making prolly around 360-370rwhp. So what your telling me is I'd have to increase my rwhp by 230 to trap a measly 10mph higher. I don't think so myself.

My car trapped 113 with 368 rwhp and 124.83 with 545rwhp. So roughly 177 rwhp to gain 12 mph. It's pretty much how it goes. It took another 160 rwhp to get another 11 mph.

Reaction time doesn't have anything to do with et but yes a better 60' will greatly improve your times. I ran a 10.77 at 122.64 mph in my 98 Camaro. You could do about the same with the right converter.

Whoops! Got to buy another ZL1r then. A manual tranny is best for road racing.
