There are 3 new award catagories to our club awards...

"My Name is Nobody" Award, Sponsored by the Iowa Law Enforcement Community.

Members qualify for this award by running without a front plate and getting caught.

"When This Baby Hits 88 MPH..." Award, Sponsored by Emmitt Brown, PhD

Members qualify for this award by attempting to travel back in time and/or exceeding the posted speed limit and getting caught by law enforcement and/or cameras.

"...They Taste Like Chicken" Award, sponosred by P.E.T.A., The People for the eating of Tasty Animals

Members qualify for this award by striking or getting hit by one of nature's creatures. Excluding insects.

Benton County, Newhall
Nov. 18 2011 I was going a litle fast on my way from Van Horne to Newhall. I never saw the officer, he found me when I stopped for the second stop sign in town.
First ticket in six years, I was excited to spend 8 hours on a beautiful saturday at Kirkwood for remedial drivig school. I was the only one in the class with lesss then three moving violations in the last six months.

I drive a little slower now, at least on the street...

Got some possible bad news. Right now our Union contract isn't going so well and is about to expire. Company has already talked about hiring another agency. Hopefully our union can come to an agreement with our contract. However if it doesn't and we do get replaced. The camaro will probably be the first thing on the list for getting rid of to pay bills. Hoping this doesn't happen.

Got them with the car. No damage from any of them, just a few feathers. The ground hog just hit the tie rod and cleaned a little dust off.

Russ I cant even imagine that, probably smelled like a bbq for a bit. Tim is a great help, and nice to have someone to do some work with.

Berns hopefully all will work out.

It's "somewhat" centrally located for a lot of us (DM, QC, Waterloo/CF, CR, etc..).

The main goal/best part of this show is the proceeds go to an extremely good cause.
The money is used to help support the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. Hopefully, see a lot of you guys there ..

Saturday, July 28th - Iowa City, IA (Kinnick Stadium).

What union you in? I'm UTU, we just had our contracts this year also. Gave in to there whining on some things, and now they are saying how they are having all time record profits.Just don't know who to beleive when it comes to these things. Hope everything works out.
