This Rattling is annoying me :(
So I have rattling in my v6 2Lt rs ever since I installed my MRT V2.0 ... The rattling is very loud and annoying whenever the rpm is between 1000 to 2000 the sound is like metal shaking / vibrating it comes from either the passenger side window or the rear windshield!!
It's seriously annoying me the dealership keeps telling me that there's nothing wrong with my car :S Any one had that before? What should I do? And I'm actually thinking about taking out my MRT and installing my old stock ones :( Thanks |

ck that the clamps are not close to other metal surfaces, I had rattle when I installed my Borla kit, but noticed clamp was hitting one of the V-straps in back. This V-strap is only on verts. So dont look for it, but look for other areas near clamps.

Take off the clamps and go get them welded ASAP.

Vibration/Engine or tranny noise
On my 2012 Camaro RS I also have the same problem. I installed a flow master axle back system and have the same problem in the right rear corner of behind the rear passenger window. They have insulated the rear panel and the vibration is still there. I give up and will be putting the stock oversized and overweight gas tank mufflers on that provide no sound what so ever, if I can't figure out where the noise is coming from. I also have a noise like a cricket or pinging noise coming from the lower part of the engine while sitting at a red light. Once you put it in neutral and back into drive it goes away. Does anybody no what this problem is it has been like that since 3000 miles, but was only at 45 mph or fourth thru sixth gear but eventually goes away and now it's at red lights. Had a Mustang owner call the car a piece of crap when he heard it.
