I hate me steering wheel.

Does anyone else hate their 2012 steering wheel? It functions great, and I like the control set up, but the look is awful, anyone know of any good aftermarket option? Or if the 2010/11 will swap out?

I love it way better than the old ones. I didn't want a Camaro until the 2012s came out, the old ones are too retro cliche.

I installed a ZL1 suede wheel on mine, it is a direct swap, 200 bucks parts, labor and tax. It has the flat bottom and feels very nice. You might look into that, it changes the whole experience, IMO.

I didn't really care for the 2010-11s either. Just wish the 2012+'s said "Camaro" instead of the Chevy bow tie. Either way I'm happy with mine

I like the old one better. I like that it is retro and only came on the camaro. The thing I hate most about the new wheel is that damn Chrome strip. It's blinding when light hits it right.

2012 Steering Wheel=Plucked from the GM parts bin
Maybe something specific to the Camaro could have been designed?

Well said!! +1!!

The new Camaro wheel looks like a generic Chevy wheel. The 2010-1 one looked like it was designed specifically for the Camaro. The new wheels are just a mass produce style for every car. Similar to how the interior on the early Challengers (08-10) where the same for the whole dodge line up...

I must be weird. I like corporate grills and wheels. Don't get me wrong, I don't like a Cavalier wheel in a Corvette, but if they are all Corvette wheels, then I do like it.

I hate to break it to you but the Camaro is and always has been a mass produced vehicle, just like the Mustang. We are not driving Zondas, lol. We are not driving unique kit cars. We are driving the corporate wheel, pun intended.

I love the 2012 wheel. The size and shape are great, perfect thickness and button layout. The paddle shifters are actually paddle shifters. It's very nice.

Paint the bowtie on the steering wheel. I was way happier after I did that.

i will get some pics in a bit. i just got it at the dealer. i get parts close to cost though. and a $40 labor rate, that helps. :-) I think it was .8 hrs labor, so maybe 80 bucks or so depending on where you live.
