relayride is a place people can go to rent cars from your neighborhood. You chose the price to rent it, as in 10 dollars an hour 50 dollars a day or on the higher end something like 50 dollars an hour 500 dollars a day. the company then pays for the insurance on it.

I am not sure but i am guessing he got spam in his email asking him to rent his ride for relayride.

hmm.. if this is legit, a used full sized sedan like a V6 Charger or something and 40 bucks an hour... thats a nice little hustle'

Provided the car is paid off.. thats a nice little profit for mods

i thought about that for my wifes car but since its an elantra it proably go for something closer to 6 or 7. It looks like a good service and something good for a neighborhood, but not for a camaro, especially not for a manual transmission to be rented out just for people to learn on

From my understanding of this, you rent the car to use, not to keep haha.

I wouldn't rent my car out to anyone...especially not for 40$ an hour LOL. I can already imagine some guy driving the piss out of it then having it returned with bald tires....

It is a partnership between relayride and Onstar. You sign up and offer your car for rent. Onstar provides them access into the vehicle at the pickup point. Keys are hidden inside car. It is then dropped off and left the same as found. Relayride gives i believe $1m insurance to you.

You can charge pretty high prices for in demand cars.

Not that i ever would lol. But, i did read a story on this and a guy with a new Mercedes. He rents it out a couple days a week while he is out of town and it pays for the car note and he makes cash off it.

I'd feel about as comfortable renting my Camaro out to a stranger as I would letting a crowd of sailors rent my wife for the evening.
