What does it mean if car is now on window sticker list? Does that mean usually in transit? Also what is GM 1800 number???

The spastic squirrel site confuses me - my car doesn't show up but I can access my window sticker no problem directly via URL. Other cars are showing up for my dealer too including one a thousand after mine as far as vin number. Strange to me Anyone know exactly how the site works and when cars show up?

I want to know too please! My dealership says mine is at 3800 yet there's a window sticker link and now it's on the spasticsquirrel database- so I'm super confused!

My car showed up on the Chevy window sticker site almost two weeks ago and it popped up on W00ts DB today. It's all a matter of timing when it's available on the Chevy site and when W00t kick's off his full scan.

Don't have an answer for ya but I'm in the exact same boat as you. Have had access to my sticker via url for a week and a half but it's not showing up in the squirrel database. Several of my dealer's other ordered cars have been and continue to show up in the squirrel database but mine has not. Very frustrating and I am loosing patience for the first time during the whole process. I have to beg for info from my dealer and it is getting old fast. I thought my dealer was kinda cool at first but they have dropped the ball big time as of late.

My dealer told me that my car has shipped but GM isn't giving him any further information How do I find out what rail car its on, it is being delivered to Maryland. Is there anyway to track it without getting info from my dealer? I am starting to get frustrated quickly - my dealer said it should be in this month and lets keep our fingers crossed.

Mine still isn't showing up, I have the vin and the dealership has been invoiced...it even shipped out on the 28th....

Oh well, I guess it looks like mine isn't gonna be showing up, and if it does it'll probably be after I receive the Camaro itself! lol

Thanks for doing this anyways though, because because of it I was able to find my window sticker by just plugging in trial and error numbers

We don't know exactly at what point GM makes the sticker available.

I run a script that scans the sticker site. Due to the complexity of scanning 145,000 possible combinations and then pulling that data, it takes quite a while for my script to do a full scan. Also, any number of things can cause it to skip over VINs or get an error and not add it to the database. I've fixed some bugs in the code so hopefully it will get a bit more reliable.

Yours is now there. Not sure why it didn't show up before but I ran a scan just on that area and it was found and added.


At first it was easy... cars showed up right after they were built pretty much in the order they were built. I could scan the last 300 possible VINs and be sure to get them all. But when a car shows up a week after it's built or 3 days after its built in no discernible order, the only way to find them all is to do a full scan; or at least a scan of the last crapload of possible VINs. A full scan takes over 24hrs to run. This is non-stop hitting GM's website. I can't keep this up. VINs have and will get skipped over. Not much I can do about it.

And to everyone that's posted or PMd me saying thanks, no problem! I'm glad everyone else finds it useful. I enjoy seeing all the cars showing up and it's nice for us to be able to see what kind of ratios, etc are being made and how "rare" your options choice is. And now with the R6P data, it might give us a tool in our arsenal when it comes to showing how little priority the preorders received.
