Well Aside from Scott and the three kneeling, there are 15 people in the background standing...

I'd call 'em the pre-production cars.

That is so wierd! I swear I had a dream where I was one of the people chosen to test drive the pre production model. But when I got there, they sent me home and I was soooooo mad. Maybe thats a sign that I should be one of the "chosen ones".

I would love to be one of the chosen few to see it in May. I guess my chance will come in september at INDY.

P.S. FBODFATHER, Can you please give me the dates for the INDY gathering so I can make vacation plans.

Thanks for posting this, Elie! I think I've recalled hearing about "the disciples" before, but it's very nice to 'know' several of them, to know the story behind the group, and to see the picture!!

I think, if they'd be willing, it would be REALLY cool to get an "autographed" version of that picture (captions of the person's name by their pic) in a large, hi-res version for posterity!

Cheers!

I do.....WOOOHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Hey, rocketman! Please, take no offence from this, but there's a very cool tool I use as an add-on to IE called IE7Pro -- it blocks ads, and also does spell checking for you automatically (when you type in a web form, if the word is mis-spelled, the program will automatically highlight it for you, so you know to check the correct spelling! It's very handy. I dont know forum rules about posting about third-party programs, but this one is free, I have no affiliation with it.

Again, I mean no disrespect, but as a computer geek, I like to pass along tips and tricks I've encountered over the years. Here's the website:
http://www.ie7pro.com/ (its free, no adware, no pop-ups, etc).

Sorry for the off-topic, folks!

There is a thread here some place, search for 'Indy', with posts by Fbodfather. It will be a rather short list.

Actually there were a few large pictures of Camaros that we all autographed last year, and they were auctioned off at various events.

...and I believe the first of which went for over $700!

It would be cool if there was more of that this year.

Very nice! Great to hear that. I was thinking more of a 'chopped digital version for all of us poor folks.

Of course, that being considered, if you all want to arrange a large digital version of the pic (maybe a scanned poster?) available to us members for download, for say, maybe a reasonable sum to charity, I'd love to consider it.

What do you all think? Is it a good idea?

Bottom line, maybe just a listing of the participants' names, to go along with the photo, was what I was getting at originally.

Thanks for your time.
