anyone know anything about the paint and leather protectant the dealer sells when you buy a new car is it worth it thanks

I for one say no, you can buy a lot of product for the kind of money they want, mine still looks good after 2 years, you just have to take care of it

I agree Vin. Paint and leather coverage at a dealer is not worth it.

I'm having major Camaro withdrawls. :(

Car is still in the shop for the heater core. Major bummer, last few weeks of good driving weather.

Parts came in today for the heater core, but they're still waiting for the new windshield to come in.... another week of the rental LOL. Ugh.

I ALWAYS say NO to these pressure sales at the dealership when I buy a new car! Not worth it! IMO

I realized the product end was not worth it, but I bough it for the warranty. My salesman sold me with a story about parking his Corvette convertible at his dentist's with the top down for a few minutes. He said his interior was all stained by tree pollen. They cleaned his leather and they replaced the carpeting, all under this warranty. If the story is true, it's lucky for him his top was down, because I don't think that the top is covered.

So, I was talking to a friend of mine the other day who works at game stop in Rome. We were playing with the idea of having a little car show outside the store during the release of a new Need For Speed game that comes out next month. His manager loves the idea and asked me to see if anyone is interested.
The release date for the game is Tuesday October 30th, I plan to show up if the weather allows me and if anyone wants to join me that would be great. The game does feature a ZL1 and I think it would be sweet for the people picking up there game to see some awesome real cars! PM me if your interested, Thanks.

i would love to do that Joe but...im struggling to get into another TA...its the only car i want, no offense to the 5th gen but my WS6 was awesome...and Joe...you still owe me a ride in that beautiful ZL1!!!!!

this was the new exhaust shortly before i totaled it.
