Those type of lights usually require a 6 ohm resistor per light to equal the load of the incandescent bulb that was removed. The ECM interprets the lower draw on the line as a burned out bulb. Many of the aftermarket LED lighting kits do not ship with the resistors needed to balance the load on that circuit. I'm surprised the turn signals work if this is the case. We assisted AFHUNTER on his install of led tail lights and they did not work properly. He called the distributor and they informed him he needed resistors in line to properly balance the load. Funny, the distributor knew the resistors were needed yet did not include them in the kit! Seriously? So much for customer sat. He ended up returning them!
The Technostalgia tail lights many of us have installed came with the resistors.

thanks hes a good buddy of mine. he waqsnt running right that night. his best was 15.1 and for some reason he was only getting 16s. it was a blast.

Thanks for the info.I emailed the company and they are shipping me the resistors.They are just the middle man and had to refer to the vendor.
