The original baseline of 259 was on a dj and the 282 was on a mustang. We're headed back to the original dj ASAP to get the true net gain.

Congrats Yellow_Glide...I for one truely appreciate what you are doing here.

I can't wait to see those results on the dynojet...do you know when that is supposed to take place?

Thanks KM, as soon as Matt or Tracy can get the car to the DJ. That's the last thing before we start the heads. Yep, we're excited to start the heads - to say the least!

Results were surprisingly close to the Mustangs in HP, but TQ quite higher. It shows the dreaded resounance causing the knock sensors to pull timing, but car is super strong on the street. Good cold start, excellent idles, excellent low end response and a newer stag GT kept wanting to play on the way home so merging together did a little bite and pulled him till the speed limit.

On the DJ it just made 284 rwhp & 254 rwtq. Have to wait for them to email us the graph to post it but overall nice gains. still on the slightly rich side but the ONLY mod this car has is Injen & VMax TB. Stock IM, etc. Now to the heads and ported IM for final #'s and I see over 300 to wheels no problem. Cams run awesome through the entire power band.

With these cams it really is held back by the IM and heads for sure. The air pump an engine is needs every part to compliment the rest. Still a 25-30 rwhp gain with just the cams? Impressive.
25-30 just with the cams? Dam, I need to start playing the lottery or sell a kidney or two.

awesome results. cant wait to see next part.
Tracy you mention "It shows the dreaded resounance causing the knock sensors to pull timing" what gear was it dyno'd in? when i dyno'd i had that too but only in 3rd gear pulls not in 4th. any idea why our cars show that in one gear pull and not another?

Nice results gents...well done all round. So looks like around 10%. Have you guys got OTR intakes for your Camaros? We have found greater gains with this sort of arrangement as compared to some pod filter setups?

yeah we have Vararam which is an OTR type. which i have and love. Yellowglide uses the Injen long tube intake which is one of the better performing intakes we have.

Not wanting to hijack thread but have you found a difference between the two?
