I own a 2012 2LS with the LFX engine and the automatic transmision. I'm planning on getting a salvage car with the manual transmission, gauges, pedals, et. al. and swap them into my car. Can I get any year gen 5 v6 manual camaro and just update my ECU or do I need to get a 2012 camaro so that I have the correct ECU for my engine?
