What mods first?
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and new with Camaro's. I use to own a BMW M3 but liked the new style of the Camaro so I convinced my wife to let me have one. I bought a 2013 LT1 RS package the color is "Blue Ray". I already ordered a leather conversion kit and that will be installed next Friday. I have read many threads and I am learning allot. My next purchase will be the Rx oil catch can. That will be real soon. This is what I would like to do in the future.
1. CAI 2. Air scoop 3. Windshield relocation kit 4. Ported throttle body with spacers? 5. Corsa cat back exhuast My question is, what order should I get the above improvements? Thanks for your help |

Catch can and breather FIRST.
The rest, personally do it in whatever order you want. I would do the Corsa first, then the CAI/throttle body together so you can do it all at once (same area under the hood). Don't worry about a throttle body spacer. Quickest way to waste a dollar on this car.

Thanks everybody. Just ordered the CC from Apex. Thanks Apex for helping me out with the paint. I was hoping you were able to paint it Blue Ray. Now the wait begins.

It depends on what you want first, sound or performance? I don't have a catch can yet and I'm almost at 26,000 miles now ![]() It is supposed to help ALOT down the road so I'd get that first (or not lol) From there do you want a better, louder sound or an increase in performance? The intake with the add ons you listed will be the only thing that will really boost your overall performance. The ported TB will give you a nice kick in the pants when you hammer down and the exhaust will make you sound a hell of a lot better than the super quiet muffler that come stock. I personally like the order you have them listed in now. |
