My Winter Project
Well I took up BMR and Apex on their great Christmas sale and order me a whole bunch or spare time work for this winter.
BMR Full Bushing Kit BMR Sway Bar BMR Endlinks BMR Toe Rods BMR Subframe Connectors and Tunnel Brace Once I get ontop of those parts Dif. upgrade will be had (posi-mod and Billet Caps) along with axles. Everything is dropped from the car andstock bushing removal has begun. Car won't br driven for a few months so I just work on it a few hours at a time. Not in a hurry. Any pointer, tips, or just good general information on removal is greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to a completely different car when I'm finished. Along with all this stuff includes a Seibon trunk lid, new Spark plug wires, heater Hose relocation mod, and some paint work from Lupe.

It looks like your fun has just begun!
![]() My biggest suggestion would be to just make sure you take your time and be patient. Some of the bushings can be a bit of a pain to take out but you are lucky and can do a little bit at a time. If you run into anything feel free to give me a call and I would be more than happy to help you out. Kyle |

It does look like great fun!
1 tip- I wouldn't leave the rear calipers hanging unsupported. They say it can damage the hydraulic lines... ![]() Have a good time .

The easiest way I have found to get those factory rear cradle bushings out is to make two pie cuts from the inside of the inner sleeve through the outer sleeve to the rear cradle. Doing this will release the pressure on them and allow you to beat them out with a hammer afterwards. I have used a reciprocating saw in the past with good success.

Looks like you are going to have a lot of fun stuff to keep you business while the weather sucks. Your car is going to be a whole new animal by the time you are finished. Thank you for your order and.....

Got the cradle bushings out this evening. A propane torch and a hammer took care of them in about 15 minutes. All others will be pressed out this weekend with a hole saw being used on the diff.

All bushings (in the rear) are out. While everything is out I'm having all the pieces underneath the car painted. I'm also sending my dif. off to get upgraded while its out of the car and axles will be getting ordered next week probably.

I'm getting ready to do the BMR stage 2 upgrade this weekend, so I'll let you know if I run in to any snags. I'd like to post a DIY for it just because I've been pulling what hair I have out trying to piece everything together from all the different posts on here. I'm still waiting on my new diff from Lashway, so it looks like I'll be doing that change out in a couple of weeks since this is my DD and I'm on my 4 day weekend. Good luck with your project.
