I'm told it spent the day on their frame rack measuring. Not sure why as I am positive there are no frame and suspension issues. And the estimator missed 3 areas of damages. That was after he told me they wanted to make sure they wrote a complete estimate. I have a show February 23rd and planned to take both Chevys. Not sure now if that is going to happen.

Skyman, hope your wife gets better. LBM, cool purse! Jan, hope your back gets better. Sorry if I missed anyone.

The weekend is coming!
I am thinking it's depression maybe a little...........I would certainly be discouraged if my Camaro was damaged. Hang in there.....hope it will b good as new ASAP. I don't like to leave mine at the shop for work unless I can see what they're doing. Had my wheels aligned at a tire shop I'd used for my exhaust and a couple of other things when I first got it..............you can imagine my dismay when they proudly told me they had "cleaned it up" for me........dang...........I don't really do much touching on my car when I wash and dry it. I use 3 different sponges and a blower to dry it, then touch up with a quality microfiber and Adams detail spray..........I'm afraid to look at the paint.....

Thanks for noticing!!! Not only does it match Ladybug, it's made out of seatbelts, too! I bought it at a car show last summer, and I LOVE it

A second 3 day weekend in a row for me... can't wait!

Wow, you get me!

My wash routine is the same as yours, one wash pad for the top surfaces, one for the sides, one for the wheels, and use a Metrovac to dry the car, and Adam's Detail Spray for touch up.

Feeling violated that someone or some people could be leaning on it, fingering it, or carelessly doing whatever else to it.

Happy Valentines day everyone!

When I took Ruby to have her tires rotated I stood in the window watching them. I looked away for just a second & when I looked back they had one wheel/tire leaning against the car's body. I looked at the owner & said "Please tell me that they donot have that tire leaning against my very fragile paint!" He went & carefully moved it. I had told them in advance how particular I am about my car. I was not happy.

I went ahead & told Mike about Ruby Too. Well I sent him an e-mail. I wanted him to have time to think about it before he responds. I am supposed to go pick her up this weekend. I couldn't think of a way to arrange it to get away from Mike to go pick her up without an elaborite scheme & decided to just go ahead & tell him that my mind is made up & won't be changed. Wish me luck. I am tired of not having a pet. It is time! I am getting excited about getting her but dread going home tonight to have the "discussion".

I'm not sure exactly what it was, but whatever punctured the tire AND the wheel reminds me of a rain spout nail. It was about 1/4" thick and long enough to go through the tire and wheel. I suppose it was attached something, I think it was metal, and flew out of the tire when it hit the rocker, scuffed the rocker molding, hit a small area of the rocker, and then hit the rear wheel.

That sux, I sure hope they can get it fixed up really soon.

Well the discussion with Mike did not go as badly as it could have. He is not happy but I did not bend & he stopped when I told him I was done talking about it. We are going to get her on Saturday & going tomorrow to buy supplies to care for her. I am tired & will turn in soon. I LOVE my bed.
