Has anyone else been told GMS pricing has changed? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have been told (now that my car has arrived) that since the price list I received when I placed my order (the same one posted here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8239) my car is about $2,000 more to pick up.

Instead of receiving almost 9% off the base 2SS price and paying:
$30,738.45
I am being charged:
$31,925.56

Instead of getting 20% of the options, I am getting 12% off each option.
Instead of there being no charge for IOM, there is now a $286 charge.
I've seen others confirm the destination charge went up to $795.

Not to be whiny for those who aren't getting GMS, but I was at my price limit to start with and while I waited over 8 months for the car to be built...had someone updated me on the prices I would have gone w/the 2LT.

Anyway, anyone who has heard anything on this - I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!)

I didn't hear of any changes. I am going to get GMS and the price will be $33,287.25 for 2SS with RS, Polished wheels, 6 speed. That price is with the $795.00 for DFC.

When did you order? If you ordered before March 1, your dealer will receive credit from GM for the IOM and the $50 increase in destination charge so they should not charge you. Make sure your dealer is aware of this and tell them that you know about it as well.

Yes Employee and Supplier pricing did go up. This you will have to pay and will not be able to get out of.

Well, thanks for the info...looks like because I was dinking around waiting to find out about the hurst shifter my order didn't go through until April 6th...rats.

Mr_Draco - One other thing - did your dealer inform you of this though? How did you hear about the increase?

The increases have been posted here every time they happen by the dealers that come to this forum and by GM.

Yes there was an inrease on Feb 18th and another on April 1st I believe...
