Ok, so here is some cool stuff from my track day at Laguna seca with http://www.hookedondriving.com/ this is a first class organization and i highly recommend if your into track days that you sign up with them,they have venues all over the country.So here are some videos of my 2013 SS 1LE in action,notice that i think the only car that passed my was the ZR1, which i didn't let get away.I screwed up in my C5 video and forgot to change the GoPro settings for shooting from inside out,but there is still some good stuff. Im not a computer person and dont know how to do all that fancy editing,so all i could do was separate the sessions so i could get them on Utube,so just fast forward past my harnessing myself in.In the videos I dispose of all 3 mustangs that were there.The first one was a Shelby.

I also have some cool pics you guys might like.When i got to the track on Thur.i was the only one there except for a guy named Randy Pobst.He was there doing a thing for Motor trend with the 2014 Viper,he said what a hot car the 1LE was and this place is hard on brakes.I asked if i could take a couple pics of the front straight, and they said no pics of the cars.I went to the ticket office to make sure i was allowed to be there,and they said i could go anywhere (except the track)i wanted,so i went to the top of the corkscrew and detailed my car while Randy did hot laps.

Since i had permission to be there i took some pics of the 2014 Viper with a crappy little camera,so im pretty sure these are the first pics of the new Viper.The guy with Randy isn't me i dont remember his name,but i think thats the editor of Motor trend.

For all the talk about the tremec tranny and all the issues,other then a missed shift,this thing is solid.I had 5 sessions on track,my GoPro was dead for the 5th.I hired a professional to wire up the car with cameras,telemetry so next week i will have a totally professional video of me hunting down,and disposing of two mustangs they guy in the white one with the wing came up to my after the 4th session and asked why am i in such a hurry,a very funny moment,of which i replied i am posting this hunt on C5.






There is more video i will get them up in a couple days. The best is yet to come.

Alright gentlemen, here is the whole 4th session i have been waiting for.In this session i catch and pass both mustangs(i got all 3 that were there but there were only 2 in this session)the 1st is at 6:10 in part #1.I see the 2nd at 7:56 and the hunt is on .In part #2 i get the 2nd,watch the G meter at 1:04,2:54,4:00 and 5:02(of part #2) you will see how hard i am pushing,and how this car sticks to the track,enjoy.

That is very cool!! I grew up near Monterey, so I have been to Laguna Seca several times. It is beautiful.

Cool vids! I'm still waiting on my vr 1le. Can you tell me about you harness? Do you have a harness bar? I didn't see a roll bar in the photos.

Yes i got everything here,http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/...ats-harnessbar it is totally bolt in.You will need the tank plate,and harness bar,and of course belts,but the tank plate and harness bar are the bomb.

Dude there is nothing better,if that is something that you are interested in then dont let anything stop you.There is nothing that sucks about being on a race track!

What did you think of the seat lateral support,ok with harness or needs improvement ?
Very cool by the way and you didn't even need the tow hook.

well i used the tow hook for my GoPro and no issues with support the 6pt harness keeps you snug and warm

It is something I am going to consider. I just have to find a track in my area that isnt too expensive! Plus I have to make sure my car is in good enough condition up to the specs (tire tread, oil level, brakes, etc)
