They used to not have a speed limit in the daylight hours, but then conformed to Gov standards and have imposed speed limits in the late 90's early 2000's.

Ironically, fatalities have went up on all roadways, in most cases doubling, in a 7 year study which covered four years of unlimited and three years of limited.

Strange I should know this, but was planning a trip to try and take advantage of the unlimited speed so did a little research.

Yeah, tollroad or not, it's great to cruise between 85 and 95 from San Antonio to nearly Waco....Just have to watch out for feral Hogs....

So.... I had to make a quick run to South Texas on a family matter Tuesday and decided to try the southern branch of 130 from Austin to I10.... Let's just say, "life has begun...."
