I hope this reveal brings what everybody is hoping for. For me, I'll keep my ZL1 and be happy with it.

As I have pondered the thought of the reemergence of the Z28 a question came to mind. No disrespect meant to any 3rd or 4th gen owners. When was the last time the Z28 was really worthy of all of the hype? I'm thinking 1st gen or real early 2nd. It's been a while.

I'll let the Camaro historian respond to your Z/28 question while I ask another. If the LS7 Camaro debuts in NYC I think it leads to a power upgrade for the 2015 ZL1. Would you trade your ZL1 for an LS9 powered ZL1?

My opinion it would be the 1st gen. I drive a 4th gen Z/28 and love the car but don't feel it represents the Z/28. That has everything with GMs failure to represent the car. It seems they are trying to do things the right way for the 5th gen so, if there is a 5th gen Z/28, hopefully they build it the right way.

I think I would. In my opinion this car should have been released with the LS9. I would have happily paid the extra $.

On a purely selfish note, I approach 7,000.................The House approaches 12,000 posts................................and the House approaches 350,000 views (without scantily clad ladies I might add)

Many milestones. Wlll it be the trifecta? Now that would be something.

I believe C6 production ended a couple weeks ago. I doubt GM would build more LS7s than they need so there probably won't be any just laying around. I'm not sure how many are built each year.

They also build LS7 crate motors and have the necessary wavers to build production motors in 2014.
