I think I need more than 1 speaker. Even if I did use the car for "Track days", I would drive it there. An upgraded sound system would be a must. I don't want to have to add one. I like factory options!!

The Z28 returns to it's rightful place!
The leaked SS pictures were very misleading! I'm not one for the SS grill and spoiler really and you couldn't see the full taillights yesterday. After seeing the Z28 I feel like they did a great job, besides the lack of radio and fog lights. (make those optional GM, especially the radio) I'm even for the new bumper and taillights. I see a slight Third Gen looking headlight recess in that front bumper and some 69, 2nd, and 3rd Gen in the taillights, especially with the cut into the quarters. They are more "Camaro" than the last ones because all 4 Gens before had a similar design at some point. The louvers look like IROC-Z louvers almost exactly, just with a border and a more plain design. The front splitter and rear diffuser are a little big and it's a little weird that the 28 isn't in the middle of the Z on the emblem though. Overall, this is a fantastic job and a long awaited win for us all! Thank you GM!

Depending on the price, of course, I think Chevy is taking a gamble, or calling our bluff, or both with this Z/28 to see if "bare-bones/performance only" will be a success in a street legal car...If it's affordable, I hope it will be a success...

It's already been said the 2014 ZL1 will also have Recaro, but they may be optional, but it will be possible.

I might have to steal those wheels and put 'em on a ZL1.
Edit: Tires too.

Sorry if anyone's mentioned it so far, but am I wrong in seeing that the Z/28 does NOT have the fugly chrome strip above the grille!? Nice move on that one.

The chrome strip is probably part of the RS package along with Halo HID headlights and LED tail lights.

Correct, no magnetic ride, but there is a new 4 way valving within the newly designed dampers for the Z/28. Not manually adjustable.
Chevy is not calling any bluffs, and is laying down it's hand to take the pot. Hopefully it's not too expensive, but, as the Z/28 board has speculated for along time now it might come in just shy of 50 large, before any options.

....man, 7,100 RPM red line, fly me to the moon....there is nothing like a high reving, free wheeling N/A motor like in the small block days of Chevy yesteryear....
